Ski Limone
The ski resort closest to the Riviera.
Limone Piemonte sits at 1,400 metres in the Maritime Alps, about an hour from the coast and an hour and a half from Nice. It is one of the most overlooked ski areas in Europe — not because it isn't good, but because the people who know it tend not to say anything. The skiing is genuine, the food is Italian, and the lift queues are short. We have been going for years, and we are happy to share it.
